Social Networking For Your Small Business: Do You Do It?

Local search marketing is a super powerful way for small business owners tosocial media engagement ring
strengthen their business & attract new customers. These days social networking is no longer an option if you want to endure in today’s competitive local market.

How many of the 500 Million Facebook users do you think live in your local area? YouTube (which is owned by Google) is the 2nd largest search engine in the world. Billions of videos are being watched every single month and with all the technologies out now, they are really easy to make & upload straight to YouTube. If you aren’t using video’s to market your business you are missing a huge opportunity.

It seemed like Twitter ‘exploded’ virtually overnight but in truth they have been in operation since 2006. Now with over 100 million users Twitter is a great way to keep customers informed and up to date with what is going on at your place of business.

I like to think of social media as a big “party” where like minded people are coming together to socialize. They can talk about all sorts of things, including business. Just think, a “recommendation” on Facebook can potentially go a LONG way in generating new customers and bring your business back to the forefront of mind with current customers.

Social media is about being social and building relationships. Do not jump into social media if you don’t have the time or the desire to do so. Many small businesses are turning to local outsourcing because they know they need to be active in social media in order to stay competitive, but they also have a business to run. Outsourcing doesn’t always have to be scary especially if you keep it local. Contracting someone in your area to manage your social media efforts is a win-win! You get someone who understands your area, your business & your needs without having to worry about the extra costs that go along with hiring an employee.

Call me for a FREE 30 minute consultation and we will discuss your current social media efforts and what you hope to accomplish in the future.
